National Comprehensive Center For Fathers provides motivational, educational workshops and job placement to custodial and non-custodial fathers over the age of 18, with minor TANF eligible children. Services include DADS/Alumni membership, GED preparation and testing, life skills training, parenting skill and support, nutrition/health, uniforms, career and educational assessment, mentoring support groups, legal service, job specific skills training tuition assistance and job placement/ retention services.

Kofi Asante is a visionary who unites families and provides them with the tools of success. In September of 2008 he launched a campaign to create NCCF University. He began recruiting a team of experts who have devised a strategic plan to raise 20 million dollars for the establishment of the National Comprehensive Center for Fathers University. As a national leader in Human Services Kofi Asante is committed to address the problem of broken families by creating family therapy institutions of higher learning. This institution will address the academic, social, cultural, professional and therapeutic needs of its student population.

5 CORE SERVICE UNITS

Job and Education Management Specialists
J.E.M.S. make contacts with various employers to establish work sites for exploration career fields.  These sites can also be used for temporary or part-time employment while members are in training, which establishes career related skills for the members prior to permanent employment. Read More

Fatherhood Initiative
The Fatherhood Initiative Program is modeled after the college fraternity concept.  Historically, fraternities foster a brother hood and in the same vane, these men that go through this program are grounded in discipline, respect and recognition of the role and value of the family. Read More

Legal Services for Responsible Fathers
The Legal Services and Assessment Program addresses and eliminates the legal barriers that have been identified and frequently prevent NCCF participants from obtaining self-sufficiency and reuniting with their children and/or families. These barriers hamper placement strategies and program retention tactics because participants often are incarcerated if these issues are not properly addressed. The program assesses and evaluates the entire dynamic of the participant’s legal service issues. Read More

Work-N-Style for Men
Developed to assist disenfranchised individuals who are returning to or entering the workforce for the first time.  The resources for men transitioning back into the workforce are usually rare and few. Ex-offenders, homeless men, men who have been laid off and non-custodial parents not only face social barriers, but also issues of low self-esteem that impede any attempts toward improvements. 3M Mentoring Project
The Men Mentoring Men (3M) project recruits interested and willing adult males to serve as mentors to members of the DADS program. NCCF provides mentors with short-term training and works with members in a structured program of activities that help members with a “live” support system to enhance the member’s fatherhood and employment skills.
